UES Hotmelt System in action.
The Knecht case erector produces up to 20 boxes per minute.
Because of high production requirements (exposure to dust, overhead application) a complete UES hotmelt system was integrated.
The preparation of the glue takes place in an easy and safe to handle UES Compact4-4SE.
Each single channel (tank, glue distributor, hose, application head) is monitored by a control system that regulates the temperature precisely.
The glue runs through an automatic UES Highflex hotmelt hose to the application head. In nonworking times a temperature drop reduces the heat. The tank filling quantity is controlled by an integrated sensor.
The overhead installed UES application head H342 is fitted with 2 air opening/air closing modules Typ H340 (pitch 60 mm). A fast switching 5/2-ways solenoid valve effects the switching.
To provide obstructions of nozzles and modules a 90° UES inline-filter was installed between application head and hotmelt hose.
The 2 UES brass precision nozzles (0,4 mm with 30° angle) guarantee a precise and efficient glue application to the carton flaps.
