2006-01-01 High-volume tank units of the MAXMELT-series
The new large tank units of the MAXMELT series were specially designed for high-volume adhesive processing for wide-slot application or for non-contacting area-spraying application.
Furthermore they are outstanding as the central system for dot- and bead applications as well as a pre-melter for smaller units or for mill application- and coating units.

2005-11-01 Automatic filling of the tank
By virtue of our new product, the Automatic Granulate Feeder, production interferences, caused by overfilling for example, are a thing of the past.
Our Automatic Granulate Feeder is placed upon the opening to fill the tank instead of the tank lid. A sensor (fill-sensor) registers the adhesive’s fill level in the tank and automatically switches the granulates transport on and respectively stops it automatically when the desired amount is reached. Due to a second sensor in the suction-pipe an over-filling of the tank is avoided.
In order to transport the granulate, the conveyance hose (included in delivery) is applied to the supply container by means of the intake port.

2005-04-21 The new system series COMPACT SE
On the occasion of the INTERPACK 2005 UES is proud to present the new system series COMPACT SE as a special offer of the trade fair. The new concept provides for the successful placement of this "compact", robust and inexpensive basis-system on the market.
Prominent features of the COMPACT SE 04/08-4 are:

UES puts targets to Service

UES AG, Manufacturer of Hotmelt Systems which are exchangeable to Nordson, doubled the turnover of their Service and Maintenance Division in 2004.
According to these figures UES AG will expand the New Dimensions Concept which has been launched in 2003.The mobile Workshop, free Maintenance for new Customers and other benefits are the big advantages for this strategy.
"There is a big demand for Service and our estimation has been validated", said Andreas Zehmisch, CEO . " We will offer a free-of-charge trial Maintenance to every new customer. This will show our compentence in Service. We will also expand the Service-Network not only in Germany. The mobile Workshop enables us to do the service at the customers place and save time and money for the customer. We cannot understand that other companies are centralizing their Services instead of being close to the customer."
The UES focus on long-term relations with their Customers and has added the quality of Service to their Company´s Culture.

Successful Fair in Nuremberg
2004-11-26 Taking part in the Fachpack 2004 in Nuremberg was again successful for UES AG.
New Dimensions 2004 testified that it has been an effective strategy. Special interest was put on the Service and on the Consignment Stock programme. This program combines comprehensive Service, assured by local service stations, with spares and consumables which are always available.
The new Compact Model, designed for the OEM Market contains all the Specifications needed in this segment. This is the next step for market penetration.
Based on the discussions with Customers the forecast for 2005 is optimistic.
The extension of the international Sales ensures the Service for all customers worldwide.

UES is presenting two new products.

Glue application control PCS 1000From now on there will be a glue application control system with the name PCS 1000 available in the product range.This system is able to recognise glue applications on all prevalent substrates at speeds of up to 150 m/min.The top-quality laser sensor guarantees for the application check and the control system ensures the reliable processing of the signals.This system which was especially developed for the packaging industry is equipped with a 2-channel controller in the standard version and is optionally also available with a 4-channel controller."The glue application control system ensures the quality of the packaging and reduces waste in the subsequent processes. PCS 1000 has been specially developed as an inexpensive and robust system for a multitude of standard applications", says Sales Manager Wilhelm Steffens.Rapidity is no witchcraft! Air-Closing Modules Series H 340We have enlarged the product range by air-closing modules and the appropriate guns."With many adhesives you always have the problem of threading, which often causes a lot of waste. UES to capture new markets !

UES AG, Germany's second largest manufacturer of hot melt applications has made a big step towards international presence on 15th of April 2004.A contract for the exclusive sale of UES hot melt applications in Italyhas been signed by company E.O.I. Tecne, based in Milan.Both parties expect a clearly improved market presence in Italy to result from this co-operation.
"Especially the North of Italy with its manifold industries requires a professional representation and competent advisory service.In E.O.I. Tecne we have found a partner who has many years of experience in the market of application techniques. E.O.I. Tecne has so far operated in the area of cold glue application and dosing of fluids and they have a stable position in the market.From now on we will jointly make use of these synergy effects and we will both benefit from this", says Andreas Zehmisch, CEO of UES AG.As supplier of hot melt applications and components which are compatible to systems of other manufacturers, UES AG has established a good reputation not only in Germany but also in other European countries.More sales and representative offices are scheduled to be established across Europe. UES closer to the customer

Within the scope of its New Dimensions"" strategy, UES AG, Krefeld, has considerably expanded its service and distribution network in Germany as from 1st April. Munich, Aschaffenburg, Gross-Gerau, Hamburg and Leipzig are the new service locations of UES AG. From here, the local customers will, in future, not only be supplied with replacement parts, repair and maintenance work will also becontrolled decentrally from these locations. These services are available for all UES products, as well as for the respective connection-compatible installations from Nordson and other manufacturers. ""In emergencies and with maintenance, speed is the trump card. When machines are standing idle, the customer has just one wish: the installation must get back into production. For this reason, we have selected our partner companies deliberately on the basis of emergency standby and service mentality considerations"" explains Bernd Friedewald, responsible for the development of the partner network at UES AG. Currently, talks are being held with additional potential partner companies in Berlin, Stuttgart and Freiburg. The intention is to incorporate these areas into the service network in 2004. By the end of the year, a so-called finely woven network will be established in the entire Federal Republic of Germany.
